Are you a bookworm at heart? Befuddled is an all new word game that is a mix of puzzle games, crosswords, word search games, and much more! If you ever want to relax to a word game that has no timer and lets you get lost in strategic thinking, Befuddled is the game for you.
Form words by touching adjacent tiles in the grid. You can select tiles to the right, left, up, down, and diagonally.
As you submit words, the used up letters in the grid vanish, and tiles fall down from above to take their place.
When you reach higher levels, additional tile types (marble, jade, glass, and ruby) begin to fall, in addition to the original wood style. Words can only be spelled using a single tile type.

Befuddled app good for
Arguably the best word game for the iPod/Phone on the go today! Befuddled is easy to learn, but you will be rewarded with some deep and satisfying wordplay every time you fire it up!
This game is well designed and fun to play. Unless most word games where your only object is to spell words, Befuddled also requires strategizing to overcome its various obstacles and gain bonuses. The look of the game is polished and the gameplay is very solid. As a word game fan, I always love it when a game has a robost score and word keepeing system, and this one certainly has. The only complaint I have now is that the game can be a bit laggy sometimes and the in-game word list looks pixellated after the last update. Otherwise, this is another very good word game that I think most word game fans would enjoy!
Fantastic game, and very addictive. The addition of being able to have four games saved at once is great.
Unlike other word games like Bookworm where you can get by just quickly spelling 3-4 letter words repeatedly, this one is designed to encourage you to think hard to spell long, unique words, making use of whats already there. There are a limited number of tiles per level and a target score to reach, and long words are rewarded exponentially, so put on your thinking cap and spell out those ridiculously long words that you wont get to use elsewhere!
Addicting! But, would like the ability to see the point values for potential words prior to spending coins on changing tile types.
I love this game! I got hooked on it from the first day I played it. Love the challenge of finding larger and less known words. Im continually trying to beat my top game!
Some bad moments
Should add kid level like on hd. Its more fun to just relax and make words.
I am so disappointed with the new changes. its completely changed how you play the game. the worst part is the added tiles that you cant use to start a word. also the tiles with two or three letters on them is a joke. the game was so much better before the changes, its not even fun anymore just annoying.
I played this game every day now Ill have to find something else the change is just to frustrating.
The new update has taken a simple, elegant and relaxing game and turned it into a complicated, nerve-wracking mess. Letters literally change while Im trying to click on them. The whole underlying game has been changed and previous strategies have gone out the window. The game is now truly "Befuddling" and will be coming off my phone.
These were the worse changes ever. Dont go for it. Updated on my iPhone but wont do it on my iPad. Can I please get my older version back?
Will not rotate. Apple, please tell us when games require you to spend money to play!
Look up word in the dictionary no longer works since updating to iOS 7 on my iPad. No keyboard appears to enter letters.
